New Staff at 2020 Vision Campaign in Ypres!

In December 2009 Ann Caluori and Mirko Montuori joined the Mayors for Peace 2020 Vision Campaign as part of the European Voluntary Service program funded by the European Commission.  Ann and Mirko will work as Communications Associates at the International Secretariat in Ypres, Belgium. One of their main responsibilities will be to work with the leadership cities; Ann will be liaising with the cities of Akron, Biograd Na Moru, Halabja, Manchester and Volgograd. Mirko will be working with the cities of Bastogne, Brussels, Florence and Malakoff.
Ann Caluori
Since graduating from the University of Wales, Swansea in 2003 with a Bachelor (Hons) degree in English and American Studies, Ann has worked for a number of British organizations in the private, public and charitable sector. These include the Home Office, various local Councils, and the Restorative Justice Consortium. She most recently worked in the Fundraising department of Age Concern England, a national charity working for and campaigning on behalf of older people in the UK. 
 
Mirko Montuori
Holder of a BSc in Political Science and a MSc in International Relations (Hons) at Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore of Milan, Mirko also obtained a post-graduate Master in Diplomacy at ISPI and studied for exchange programmes at the University of Geneva and Sciences Po in Paris.  His work experience includes internships at the Italian Cultural Institute in Paris and Development Gateway in Washington DC. Since 2005, Mirko has been involved in the organization of international youth conferences, including nine Model United Nations events and a European Youth Parliament session.  He is also currently serving as treasurer of the MILMUN Association, based in Milan.
