REGISTRATION FORM

New memberships reach us almost every day. I takes some weeks to process new memberships. Thank you for your patience.

Please contact your mayor and ask him/her to become a member of Mayors for Peace.

Do this on your own, or even better

A letter from a group of civil society groups

Contact other people and civil society groups, to make a common letter.

A letter from a cross-party group of Mayors

This has proven to work best. Find a cross-party group of Mayors who will co-sign a letter of invitation to Mayors who have not joined yet. You can be sure that one mayor will also agree to mail the letters from his/her City Hall.

A letter from the Mayor of Hiroshima

If you think that a letter of the Mayor of Hiroshima could help to enroll your mayor(s) as a member, contact us at the international campaign office (contact details) and we will make sure you get a letter.

How can a Mayor to join Mayors for Peace?

Send a letter from the mayor or the head of the City Council to the Conference Secretariat stating that your city supports the Program to Promote the Solidarity of Cities toward the Total Abolition of Nuclear Weapons and would like to join the Mayors for Peace. Shortly thereafter, the Secretariat will send by return mail a certificate confirming membership in the Mayors for Peace.
